As of January 8, 2014, Friends of Shalom For Uganda has completed the incorporation process in the state of Illinois and has officially submitted its application to the IRS to become a registered 501 c 3 nonprofit with tax exempt status. The IRS grants tax exempt status retroactive to the date of incorporation, which in our case is 1/8/2014. Our attorney, T.S. Wrobel & Associates, have a 100% success rate of getting their client's their tax-exempt status.
